NOV 2022
Shanghai Tour 1 – Hongqiao 01 features five key destinations: Minhang
Cultural Park, a peaceful green space with lakes, sculptures, and shaded trails;
Hongqiao Korean Street, a lively enclave of Korean restaurants, shops, and
street snacks; MixC Mall, a popular shopping hub with luxury brands, cafés,
and an ice rink; Aegean Place Mall, known for its rooftop views, fountain
shows, and bookstore-gallery café; and Minhang Sports Park, a spacious
recreational area with courts, tracks, and a stadium for local workouts and strolls.

JAN 2023
Shanghai Tour 2 features four main destinations: Hongqiao Railway Station, a
major transportation hub with bullet trains and metro access; Hongqiao
Tiandi, a thoughtfully designed mall with unique shops and family-friendly
attractions like Bada Street; the massive National Exhibition and Convention
Centre, shaped like a four-leaf clover and built for global trade shows; and
Costco Shopping Centre, a lively suburban retail space known for its food
court and tire center.

JUL 2023
Shanghai Tour 3 – Sheshan & Songjiang features three key destinations:
Chenshan BotanicalGarden with its lush greenhouses and scenic views,
Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park showcasing ancient Shanghai history through
museums and archaeological sites, and Sheshan National Forest Park, home to
a Catholic church, observatory, and forested trails atop one of the city’s few
natural hills.

JAN 2024
Shanghai Tour 4 – Biking through central Shanghai, visiting Jing’an Temple,
People’s Square, the Shanghai Museum (closed that day), and People’s Park,
while reflecting on the contrast between the city’s spiritual heritage, civic
architecture, and tranquil green spaces.

MAY 2024
Shanghai Tour 5 – Biked through southern and western Shanghai, visiting the
Botanical Gardens, Zhongshan Park, and Changfeng Park. Along the way, we
reflected on the city’s greenery, local culture, and moments of quiet rest—
pausing to hydrate, observe tai chi, and stroll lakeside paths where cycling
wasn’t allowed.

NOV 2024
Shanghai Tour 6 – Huacao Town features five key destinations: Shanghai
American School, a prestigious international campus and community hub;
Baole Road, lined with global cafés and shops including the cozy Café du
Village; Fashion International Plaza, a vibrant mall offering diverse international
cuisine; Zhudi Park, a peaceful neighborhood retreat with lotus ponds, walking
trails, and a lively basketball court; and Panlong Tiandi, a revitalized ancient
water town blending Jiangnan architecture with modern cafés, boutiques, and
cultural spaces.

FEB 2025
Shanghai Tour 7 – Oriental Land features two main destinations: Xicen
Science & Technology Innovation Center, a futuristic R&D hub in Qingpu with
sleek architecture, wide roads, and Huawei’s massive campus, offering a
glimpse into Shanghai’s expanding tech frontier; and Oriental Land, a
sprawling outdoor education park with themed zones for water sports, military
exhibits, amusement rides, and nature trails, including a life-sized aircraft
carrier museum and scenic views of Dianshan Lake.

SEP 2025
Shanghai Tour 8 – Features four key destinations in Xuhui District: Xujiahui
Centre, a bustling commercial hub with iconic malls like Huijin Department
Store and Metro City; Shanghai Jiaotong University, one of China’s top
academic institutions known for its historic legacy and cutting-edge research;
Huashan Lvdi, a peaceful urban park offering quiet walking paths and
community activities; and Wukang Road, a historic street in the former French
Concession lined with heritage architecture, including the iconic Wukang
Building.
